Michigan Ophthalmology Specialists is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Clarkston, MI

Description

Wilkinson Eye Center is hiring a Ophthalmic Technician to work at their Clarkston location. Typical hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The role of the Ophthalmic Technician is to work collaboratively with the clinic physicians to perform basic, advanced and complex manual and automated medical tests to allow for proper medical diagnosis.

This position requires excellent computer skills and to communicate efficiently with patients, physicians and other staff members. Must be flexible in work assignments and schedule, demonstrate commitment to ongoing training and uphold to the highest ethical principles of maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

All areas of ophthalmic patient care, including but not limited to patient work-ups, refraction, performing ancillary testing such as OCT, Visual Field and IOL measurement.

1-2 years in a Healthcare setting working with patients

COT or COA certification preferred
